Unforntantly for her I do fear she picked the wrong person as a mentor in Wil.I.Am rather than Ricky Wilson who turned first. The Ricky was completely taken by her style and her voice while looking at Wil.I.Amhe turned not because he could do something with her but because he knew how much of a threat she would pose with Ricky's guidance. I guess only time tell if I'm right if I can get passed the auditions.

The Voice 2014 - Get Lucky
The Voice is one of those programmes that has so much promise but never really delivers, but one its highs are the blind audition stages right at the beginning and it is after that that the show seems to go downhill and fails to deliver. It not the fault of the performers or the mentors but the format of the later part of the show which just doesn't grab you in the same as the X-Factor.
Why I like it is that every so often it throws up something just that little bit different that it makes you take notice and this year isn't much different from previous years in that respect. When Anna McLuckie turned up on the stage on Saturday with a Harp you knew something would happen and it did. She preformed an absolutely captivating version of "Get Lucky" by Daft Punk. It was truly spellbinding and beautiful executed as you can see from the video above.

Dancing on Ice 2014
For the very last time it is that time of year for dancing on ice and the final show ever. As the is fitting for the final show it will a spectacular with past winners and semi finalist and a few people that have entertained us over the years.
It should be an amazing show and I'm really looking forward to it, although I'm not looking forward to the show ending. It has given countless millions something to look forward to over the winter. I will be watching it every night until it ends and it is just going to be great.

Oblivion - The Elder Scrolls IV
Years and years ago I use to play Morrowind (The Edler Scrolls III) on the orginal Microsoft Xbox as well as the on the PC, and enjoyed the freedom it gave you over similar games of the time such as Arx Fatalis. So when I came across a cut price copy of Oblivion (The Edler Scrolls VI) the next in the series it was a must buy and so far I haven't been disappointed in the game play or the graphics.
At the moment I'm only at the start of the game but after a long introduction the game opens out into an expansive world where you are free to roam around or play the storyline. It is well worth its budget price and it is sure to keep me busy for quiet awhile. If you like adventure games it has to be a must buy.

Celebrity Big Brother - Winter 2014
with the coming of the new year comes the first Celebrity Big Brother of the year, the other one being later in the summer. Although I'm not so involved in the ThisisBigBrother forum as I use to be I still enjoy the show and look forward to the release of the new pictures of the house, a sure sign the series is about to start.
As aways I looking forward to it and seeing what the crazy Celebrities get up to and what Big Brother can throw at them. Channel 5 might not have the viewing figures of the original Channel 4 shows but it has breathed new life into the show both in the Celebrity version and the main summer shows. If you like the reality television I can recommend it.

Happy New Year
Just a quick post to welcome everyone to the New Year. Not sure what to say after the last post of last year, but all you can do is live in hope. The previous won't be easy to forget, although some of it I want to permanently. It hasn't been the best of years by a long way. In fact in someways there hasn't been worse.
Every year we expect better of the next, and this year that won't be hard for me. Won't say what I expect, because it will all go wrong if i did, but know this I will enter the year with an open heart and full of love to those I hold so dear in my life and I wish all of you that read this blog a very happy new year.
