Last Laugh

Alex Salmond is reported as saying that 'No' voters were 'tricked' and he is probably right with Westminster an the Leaders of both the Labour and Conservative party  hijacking the promise they made. The only way they can prove him wrong is to keep their collective word and prove the Nationalists wrong, not to do so would be the biggest mistake in recent political history and lead to the break up of the United Kingdom within a generation.

Neither leader can control there parties with both of which are is disarray after the promise made to the Scottish people was hijacked by the public school boys in the Conservative party headed by David Cameron, the person that nearly lost us 300 years of union with Scotland. Before the incandescence vote Prime Minister David Cameron, Labour leader Ed Miliband and Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg all vowed before the referendum that Scotland would be given additional powers if it rejected independence. Now they are slide lining Scotland, the one thing that will do more to damage the union than anything else.

Alex Salmond said "I think the vow was something cooked up in desperation for the last few days of the campaign" and he is probably right. For all my dislike of nationalist politics and all it stands for now and in the past he has a very valid point and Westminster are playing right in to the hands of the Scottish Nationlist Party. The reason they had to make an announcement to give more powers to the Scottish government was because they didn't listen or pay attention until it was almost too late. It is the decease of the major political parties in  the United Kingdom, they ignore the people.

We deserve better than both Labour and the Conservatives in the whole of the UK. We need a party that is fair, honest and most of all listens to the people rather than think they are better than the people. It is no wonder we feel so helpless politically as a nation when their is nobody decent to lead the country. I fear that Alex Salmond will have the last laugh when the parties in Westminster fail to deliver.
