End of the School Holidays

Comes to that time of the year when the sun sets on another set of summer of holidays for the children of Rutand as the schools reopen for their autumn terms. Tomorrow most the children in the county will be returning to their studies after the long break. Some will welcome it and some will hate it, but they all have to do it.

If you ignore the last few weeks, the school children in the area have had a glorious summer weather with the sun beating down day after day. Just what they needed to relax and unwind from the year before and to get out into the fresh air. It lovely here when the sun shines down and the children can get out and about in the village and around the town with their friends. It is also go for the families that stayed in Britain and had lovely holidays in the sun. It really has been a lovely summer weather wise.

Among those returning to school will be my own children, with Emily entering her final GCSE year, Catherine starting her GCSE's and little Lucy loo loo will be a big girl in Year 2 and coming to the of end Key Stage One at the end of this school year somewhere in Leicester. I hope like many parents will be hoping around the country they have a super year in school and they get all they can from it and have every success.
