Plans and Parties

Quite a busy time coming up with Catherine's Birthday and trips out to be had and some special trip to boot.

Looking towards the weekend we have Catherine's Birthday. On the Friday night she is having a sleep over with her friend and on the Saturday we are off to Twinlakes if the weather forecast holds out and the day is fine. On the Monday we are going to have a birthday dinner with party food and cake. It has really worked out well as far as having Lucy is concerned since it is my weekend with her. It makes up for not seeing Lucy on fathers day as I know how much enjoyment Catherine will get on having her here over birthday weekend. Only one thing would make it better and that won't happen, but that is life. 

Next month there is a special treat for Emily and Catherine and we are off to watch the formula 3 racing at Rockingham Speedway. That should be fun as it is a big girls day out and rightly so. Taking Lucy with all the noise wouldn't be good for her delicate ears and I can't see her wearing ear plugs for hours on end.  

I'm sure between the big things lots of little things will happen too.
