Summer

After all the rain and the speculation about if we were ever going to get any hint of summer it came along today.  With temperatures rising into the mid and upper twenties, the sun shining and the skies blue, it felt like summer at last. Good thing for Emily too, who will return home later to see the best of it.

However all is not well, it not here to stay if the weather forecasters are to believed and at the end of the week temperatures return to where they were before and a few days later the rain starts falling again. So folks, it looks like we have to make the most of it while we can or lucky be rich enough, or know someone rich enough, to leave the country to find more sun this summer.
