Artist of the Week - The Wanted

A relatively new band to start of the artist of the week spot for the new year. The band in question is "The Wanted". In fact they are so new that have only released one album to date which chatted at number four and from which they have already had a number one hit with the song a "All time Low".

The band are set to be massive and with a relatively young group of artist look set to be around for many years to come. Hopefully their first album won't be a one hit wonder and they can capitalise on their success and produce a second album that builds on the success of the first.

The Wanted are a British-Irish pop boy band based in London who were formed in 2009 through a mass audition,by Jayne Collins, the same woman who put together The Saturdays in 2007. Soon after they were formed they started work on a album, which they have now released and they are planning to tour later this year. You can already see the affect the band has had by the fact they have appeared on the X-Factor at the end of November last year.
