X-Factor - Act of the Week

It's becoming clear who who is in the top four of the show and those that are going to fall by the wayside as the show goes on. The great are being separated from the ordinary and it starting to show that the later group are starting to feel the pressure. It is a bit like a horse race and the gap between the leading pack and the also ran is starting to lengthen. If those acts in the bottom five don't want to lose touch then they need to do something special and they need to do it next week.

So before we go to far who are who are in the race. In the top four are Rebecca, Matt, Aiden and Cher. They are followed by One Direction who are catching them up and improving every week. In the following pack are the rest. One of the acts that I thought did well to try and get out of that following pack tonight was Katie who was so much better with everything stripped away.

The top three acts of the week for me were Rebecca, Matt, Aiden. Unfortunately I agree with Simon that after last week Cher was nowhere as good as she was the week before when she was nothing but outstanding. So the choice has to come from those three acts that are left from the top four and in the end I have gone for Matt. The emotion her put into the song was amazing, but like last week it was close. This time between him and Rebecca whose voice I can never get enough of. As for Aiden I think he deserves a record contract and the time to develop that he still needs. He could be a star of the future from what he did tonight. Remember to carry on watching One Direction they are as good as JLS and could be the real surprise at the end of the show by making the final.
