Harrier GR9 fleet for sale for scrap. Just one careful owner, one billion pounds worth of recent improvements, seven years before next service, any offers accepted.
An article in The Daily Telegraph claims the whole fleet of aircraft have been so Americas for scrap thirty four million pounds after having one billion pounds spent on them in the last ten years. As you can imagine the Naval chiefs who want the aircraft back in service aren't very happy about this leak and have publicly said it is all "complete madness". A statement I agree with completely but what do you expect for a Government that has little regard for the defense of this country and the effectiveness of our armed forces to deal with conflicts around the world.
