Today see the longest day of the year the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere. A religious festival celebrated by Pagan and other religions through out the world. It is a day that draws thousands of people ancient sites throughout the world to see the rising of the sun.
Different people have their own way of celebrating the day. While some gather to welcome the sunrise early in the morning like the Druids at Stonehenge, some others assemble in groups to light a "sacred" fire. For thousands of years this day has had spiritual implications for Christians, Celts, and Pagans.
