Match postponed

Emily loves football so it was wonderful that she came with the news that she had made the girtls football team after the trials.She use to play football for a local girls club but they couldn't get the players to carry on. I know the manger of that team was very impressed with her skill, but then again she had been playing football in the school yard with the boys for years.  

She might have hurt foot getting into the team but that wasn't going to stop her playing and last night she was resting her foot and getting ready for the match. It was just a shame when after school and after she had been sitting around for a few hours that the match never happened. The other school they were playing had to postponed the match. In the long run guess it was for the good given the state of Emily's foot. Hopefully the next match won't be called off and she will get to play for the school.
