Local Economy Shrinks

The local economy continues to shrink as the council continue to live in cloud cuckoo land. Just looking around Oakham you can see more boarded up shops. It is starting resemble Middlesbrough in the nineteen eighties but on a smaller scale. It is really is sad to see what the Bankers have managed to do through their greed. They and the Government cuts have really damaged a prosperous market town of Oakham, with shops closing and Ashwell Prison Closed and RAF Cottesmore winding down before it is closed too. Despite this the County Council continue to enlarge Oakham and do further damage to the Economy by over populations of the area.

With the local elections coming up we can make yourselves heard and start reversing the damage that over development of Rutland will cause future generations. As was shown when the people of Langham had their voices and concerns over the Hawksmead development the council isn't listening to the people. We can sack these people and they deserve it. As can be seen by the secrecy in the council these people are not open or trust worthy. They seem as greedy as the Banks that caused this mess. We have the power to make a difference. Just think before you vote if you have choice, unlike me. Vote for someone that isn't going to spoil our lovely Rutland?
