Autumn Returns
Well the warm spell is over and the winds that brought the warm air from the south and moved to the west bring cooler air from the atlantic. Although the day is bright the wind is keen and there is a ten degree drop in temperature with rain and wind to come and the famers were out making the most of the dry weather.
I guess our little indian summer couldn't last forever but another few days would have been nice. All the same it came at the right time for me and girls. We had a beautiful weekend together and with temperatures of twenty eight degrees it was certainly glorious and more than welcome after a summer that never really started to get going. Lets hope the winter, when it comes, isn't too cold for too long and soon the sun will warm our hearts and our bones.
